Why Neigbrs by Vinteum?

David told us that he did some serious online research on businesses that host condominium websites, as their old website was self-administered. It wasn’t very user-friendly, and not visited often by Villagers.

What they were after was a user-friendly, easy-to-administer website hosted by a global company, that was attractive and user-friendly for those who live in the village.

“It was appealing to know that your staff would be available and knowledgeable about the website.  It is a bonus that the staff members are also very friendly.”

Knottwood’s Software Roll Out Recipe

  1. Present the options to the board and decide which company to use
  2. After approval, find administrators in the Village who would be able to work on the website.
  3. Set up the website using the Vinteum staff; fill in the details using the Village volunteers.
  4. Announce that we have a new website at the AGM and ask who wants access to it.
  5. Publish newsletters and notices simultaneously on the website, by e-mail (reminding the villagers with each newsletter that we have a website), and by print for a small minority that still does not use a computer.
  6. Publish newsletters and notices first on the website, then the next day by e-mail, and post printed notices on the bulletin board.
  7. Continue to advertise that we have a website and invite those who show interest to join.
  8. Publish newsletters only on the website, except for those who do not have a computer.
  9. Continue to struggle with those who do not like change to get them onto the website.

What has been the biggest impact of using Neigbrs by Vinteum?

The biggest impact has been the instant communication that happens when one posts on the website. Even when a room is booked, all the administrators find out now.

What have you been most impressed with?

The kindness and knowledge of the Vinteum staff has been what most impressed us.
