Customer Success Stories: Wolf Lake HOA and Neigbrs by Vinteum

About Wolf Lake

Wolf Lake HOA is a neighborhood of 184 homes located in New Albany, Southern Indiana. This neighborhood has established tree-lined streets and a private lake that is home to a wide variety of local wildlife.

Wolf Lake HOA has been working with Neigbrs by Vinteum since 2019. We spoke to the HOA’s manager, Jane Galownia about how our software has worked for them.

Challenge

Before starting to use Neigbrs by Vinteum, we didn’t have a website. We struggled with communicating with homeowners and having the means to reserve the clubhouse.

Current Solution

With Neigbrs by Vinteum, we have an event calendar where residents can reserve the clubhouse for parties. I can easily communicate with residents, and I have the ability to send documents as well. Finally, we have the ability to customize surveys.

Results and Impacts

Communication has improved since we switched, we now have an easy way for homeowners to reserve the clubhouse. The staff at Neigbrs have always been very patient and informative in answering my questions. I really like the ease with which I can reach out and get answers to questions. The Administrator’s Manual which was provided to me has been very helpful, with step-by-step instructions and screenshots.

After talking to the treasurer about how many people are using Neigbrs, I found out through a video that you made that I can see how many people read notices, I saw that 74% of residents had read it.

Wolf Lake HOA’s Favorite Features

In our interview, Jane talks about her most used features: notices, the calendar, and surveys.

Notices

What is it?

Notices is our email feature. You can use it to post notices to the Neigbrs by Vinteum portal and app, and it will send an email to residents and board members.

You can then do what Jane mentions, which is to check and see how many people have opened the email.

Benefits

Email is one of the best communication tools that you have to keep residents in the loop about what’s going on.

Using notices you have email communication centralized in one place, with statistics for you to see how many people are opening your emails.

Events Calendar

What is it?

The events calendar is a calendar that you can use to share what is going on in your community association.

So if you have regular classes, meetings, or maintenance then you can post them, that way residents can see what is happening.

Benefits

An events calendar is a great way to be more transparent with residents about what’s going on. It also helps to organize what is happening and have it laid out clearly.

This also helps to improve engagement, as residents know more about what is happening.

Surveys

What is it?

Our survey feature is a way for boards to ask for their members’ opinions on issues. You can choose who can participate and whether they have multiple or single choice answers or an open textbox.

Benefits

Surveys help the board to understand how residents feel about an issue that affects them.

This increases the engagement and participation of HOA and Condo members in running their community association.
