Dispute Resolution

What is dispute resolution?

Dispute resolution is the structured process an HOA uses to work through disagreements, between neighbors, or between a resident and the board. It can be as informal as a direct conversation or as formal as mediation, arbitration, or an internal grievance hearing, depending on how serious things get.

Why does dispute resolution matter?

Most disputes involve rule violations, property disagreements, or plain old miscommunication, and the outcome usually depends less on who’s technically right and more on whether the board handled the process fairly and consistently.
