A high-rise is a multi-story building, typically over ten stories, usually featuring elevators and amenities that come with that kind of density, things like a shared lobby, a fitness center, or a rooftop deck.
Why does a high-rise matter?
High-rises come with a different set of management challenges than a townhome community, more shared infrastructure, more safety systems, more residents relying on the same elevators and stairwells every single day.
