High-Rise

What is a high-rise?

A high-rise is a multi-story building, typically over ten stories, usually featuring elevators and amenities that come with that kind of density, things like a shared lobby, a fitness center, or a rooftop deck.

Why does a high-rise matter?

High-rises come with a different set of management challenges than a townhome community, more shared infrastructure, more safety systems, more residents relying on the same elevators and stairwells every single day. Boards managing one need to think about maintenance and emergency planning differently than a typical single-family HOA would.
