Quiet Hours

What is HOA quiet hours?

Quiet hours are a specific time period an HOA or condo association designates during which residents are expected to keep noise to a minimum, commonly overnight or during other times residents are likely to be sleeping.

Why does HOA quiet hours matter?

A clearly defined quiet hours policy gives residents an objective standard to point to, and gives a board a straightforward basis for addressing complaints without getting into a subjective argument over what counts as “too loud.”
