Unanimous consent is a decision that requires every single member of the HOA or condo to agree before it can move forward, typically reserved for the most significant or sensitive matters a community faces.
Why does unanimous consent matter?
Requiring full agreement protects against a decision being forced through over strong minority objection, but it also means a single holdout can block something the vast majority actually wants. Boards need to know exactly which decisions actually require this high a bar.
